The Graduate, Distance, and Professional Student has the opportunity to send three graduate students to the Anderson Cooper town hall "Guns Under Fire" on Thursday January 31st. The event is a show taping, so it begins at 12:30pm and will end no earlier than 3:30pm, although it may run longer so please be prepared for that. The first three people who respond will be added to the registration list that GW is providing to CNN. After that, CNN will likely be in touch with further details. Family Game Day Carnival February 2nd at 12:00pm in Anniversary Park (F Street between 21st and 22nd Street) Game starts at 2:00pm in the Smith Center (G Street at 22nd Street) Grad students, bring your family and friends for an afternoon of fun and games. Join us at noon for a BBQ in Anniversary Park (Columbian Square in the Marvin Center if the weather is bad.) There will be games, giveaways, and face painting for the old and young alike! Then, show your school spirit while you cheer on the GW Men's basketball team as they take on LaSalle. Student tickets are free, additional tickets for family and friends are $6 each. Off Campus Housing Fair February 12th at 7:00 - 9:00pm in the Continental Ballroom (Marvin Center) Looking for a new place to live? Want to learn more about your rights as a tenant in DC? There will be representatives from a variety of apartment complexes, furniture rental companies, as well as DC government and university departments.
