[GW InfoMail] GW Gymnastics Hosts Lindsey Ferris Invitational Sunday

GW Students,

While you get ready to hit the books for another semester, GW gymnastics will be taking to the mat for the Lindsey Ferris Invitational.

The Colonials welcome Cornell, Penn, North Carolina and Temple to the Charles E. Smith Center on Sunday, January 13th, at 1pm. They will compete in the vault, uneven bars, beam and floor exercise in a display sure to impress you and your friends.

The Lindsey Ferris Invitational is named for GW Gymnastics Alumna and Presidential Administrative Fellow Lindsey Ferris (B.A. '01, M.S. '03), who died suddenly in January 2006 after a successful career in the Air Force. At the meet, Head Coach Margie Foster-Cunningham will recognize one GW gymnast with the "Attitude is Everything" award in her name. Learn more about Lindsey's legacy at GWsports.com.
