Tax Services at Deloitte China
Deloitte China offers clients a broad range of fully integrated tax services. Our approach combines
insight and innovation from multiple disciplines with business and industry knowledge to help
companies excel.
Deloitte China Tax provides services to a wide variety of clients in the Chinese Mainland and in
China’s two Special Administrative Regions - Hong Kong and Macau. The China Tax business unit
represents almost a quarter of Deloitte China’s revenues. To continually meet China’s surging
market demand, Deloitte China Tax has, over the last two years, almost doubled to include over
1,400 professionals in 15 cities throughout China. The aim is to provide complete service coverage
in the northern, southern, eastern and western regions of the country.
About the Role
As part of Deloitte China’s Tax and Business Advisory Services team you will be responsible for
handling tax compliance such as preparing and submitting tax returns together with supporting tax
computations. You will assist with advisory work and tax consulting projects such as performing
research and drafting technical memoranda.
You will join Deloitte China at any of the following locations: Beijing, Tianjin, Dalian, Chongqing,
Shanghai, Suzhou, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Xiamen, Wuhan, Jinan or Hong Kong.
Requirements
A Master’s level degree from the U.S. in: Taxation, OR Accounting/Auditing with Taxation
Specialization OR Accounting / Auditing with at least three Taxation related electives/classes
Must graduate between January 2012 and July 2014
Strong academic performance – a GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above in both the undergraduate and
graduate studies
Proven English proficiency and ability communicate effectively
Chinese citizenship or work permit
Demonstrated leadership potential through extracurricular activities
Ability to comprehend and analyze complex issue in a business context
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player
