The U.S.-ChinaBusiness & Culture Exchange, Inc (UCBCEC) is a fully incorporatedinternational entity headquartered in the city of Fairfax, Virginia. We haverepresentative office which is located in Beijing, China. UCBCEC seeks tostimulate mutually beneficial exchanges and communications between China andthe United States in the fields of education, culture and commerce. UCBCECachieves this goal through multiple channels that include coordinating trainingseminar and professional development workshops, organizing internationalconferences, and university cooperative partnership programs. UCBCEC is looking for full-time programcoordinator working in our Fairfax office. PROGRAMCOORDINATOR (full-time) __Location: Fairfax VA The excellent candidate would be provided withH1B sponsorship. DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES: 1) Conduct research on specific subject matters proposed by clients; 2) Develop training outlines & topics and drafttraining proposals, based on research and communications with clients through UCBCECChina offices; 3) Outreach togovernment agencies, professional association and other organization to arrangesite visits upon the request of clients. 4) Plansand Works collaboratively on conferences, special events, projects, and taskswith other staff and partners to aid with efforts including, but not limitedto, design agendas, call nights, training days, and internship programs. 5) Performother tasks assigned by the supervisor. 6) Perform as an interpreter between Mandarinand English to a large group setting. 7)Communicateand coordinate with correspondence branch offices in China to coordinate thetraining programs, events, seminar, site visits, etc QUALIFICATIONS: - Recent graduates of a bachelor-level program inpublic administration, law, international affairs, business, political science,humanities or social sciences or relevant areas. Experience in training ispreferred. Master is preferred. - Demonstratedability to be a passionate and well spokesperson for UCBCEC. - Ability to manage multipleresponsibilities and tasks effectively within an inter-connected small workenvironment. - Abilityto establish and maintain effective ongoing relationships with key counselingcontacts in working partners as well as delegation. - Ability to perform diverse and complex taskswith accuracy and attention to details; - Ability to do interpretation for classlecture. - Excellent verbal, written, and public communication skillsin both Mandarin and English. - Must have general knowledge on U.S. and Chinapolitical system, government structure and the way both governments operate. - Candidate who has his/herown car would be a plus.
