PROJECT COORDINATOR (full-time)

Location: Northern Virginia

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1)     Conduct research on the subjects proposed by clients;

2)     Develop training outlines & topics and draft training proposals, based on research and communications with clients through Triway China offices;

3)     Manage paper work that helps clients complete internal formalities for study trips and visa application process;

4)     Execute training programs, including but not limited to: coordinating and arranging field visits and lectures based on training proposals, working with Triway travel department to ensure seamless operation throughout the training programs, and serving as an interpreter for clients if needed;

5)     Develop/manage partnership with the organizations and manage Triway training resources in the U.S.;

6)     Perform other tasks assigned by supervisors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-        Recent graduates of a master-level program in public administration, law, international affairs, business, political science, humanities or social sciences or relevant areas. Graduates of Science, Engineering and others alike can also be considered;

-        Ability to perform diverse and complex tasks with accuracy and attention to details;

-        Ability to conduct independent research on specific issues and particularly the ones beyond their area of specialization;

-        A good command of written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin;

-        Must have general knowledge on U.S. and China political system, government structure and the way both governments operate.

SUMMER PROGRAM INTERN (full-time/part-time from June 1 to August 28, 2015)

Location: Northern Virginia

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

7)     Conduct basic research and information collection on education related contents;

8)     Assist summer program manager to prepare documents, including class schedules, presentation materials, certificates, et cetera;

9)     Assist to coordinate classes, site visits and field trips;

10)  Lead or help on-campus tours at local universities;

11)  Engaged with summer program students and be able to discuss about student life and college/graduate school application;

12)  Perform other tasks assigned by supervisors

QUALIFICATIONS:

-        Current or Recent undergraduate or graduate student in education, public administration, international affairs, business, law, political science, humanities or social sciences or relevant areas. Science, Engineering and others alike can also be considered;

-        Ability to perform tasks with accuracy and attention to details;

-        Ability to conduct independent research on specific issues and particularly the ones beyond their area of specialization;

-        A good command of written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin is preferred;

-        Experience working with young students is not required, but highly preferred;

-        Ability to travel to local high schools and universities in DC Metro area.
