For a boutique U.S.-China strategic advisory firm with offices in Washington,D.C. and Beijing,China founded on the belief that new dynamics and better methods exist to more effectively connect people and resources between the United States and China.
Position: Office Manager
Location: Washington, D.C. Office
Term: Permanent, part-time (50% with flexible working hours)
Start Date: April 1, 2016 (flexible)
Response Date: We will begin review of resumes and cover letters from interested candidates on February 1, 2016
The candidate will play an integral role in business operations team, with a primary responsibility to support bookkeeping/finance, IT, operations,and other administrative needs of the organization and its senior leadership.
Responsibilities, Skills and Experience. The ideal candidate will have:
• Financial management/bookkeeping experience
• Strong writing skills
• Exceptional judgment and discretion in internal and external communications
• Attention to detail in day-to-day operations of the organization
• An ability to thrive in a small, fast-paced, and close-knit work culture
• Minimum of five years professional working experience required, minimum 10 years preferred
• IT management, desktop publishing, and graphic design experience preferred
• Very strong command of MS Office suite and familiarity with project management/ collaboration tools such as Asana
• International/China interests a plus but not are required
