JOB DESCRIPTION Title: Astar Project & Student Specialist Reports to: Director Compensation: salary, annual Type: Full-time Astar Education Institute, a Manassas, Virginia based non-profit organization which offers a variety of language and vocational programs for domestic and international students is seeking a new Student & Project Specialist to join the team. The ideal candidate possesses skills to help expand our University project between China University and the U.S institute and help with student placement jobs. Essential functions: · Maintain and establish partnership with U.S University for higher education programs · Maintain exists programs with both China and U.S Institutions · Prepare quarterly progress reports from schools for exists students · Assist with admissions process and paperwork for international students application packages into private high school and universities · Fluent oral and written translation services · Other duties as assigned Required job qualifications: · Native Mandarin speaker who is also fluent in English · Ability to be highly flexible in daily activities · Ability to perceive potentially dangerous or threatening situations and take necessary action · Patience, empathy and the ability to listen to the concerns of others · Bachelors degree or higher · Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) · Strong project management skills with attention to detail.
