NIRA Inc. is looking for one Junior/Mid Level Financial Analyst to support Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Washington DC.
Responsibilities:
The individual will provide financial management support for a major FAA program to maintain industry best practices and ensure effective budget execution practices. He/she needs to demonstrate ability to work within a team to resolve issues and present solutions to senior leadership. Specific responsibilities may include:
- Reconciling CUFF records within the FAA’s accounting system utilizing Delphi, PRISM, REGIS, CWP and similar financial systems;
- Creating PRs, PAs and Credit Card purchase requests;
- Working with minimal supervision and will have substantial latitude for unsupervised decision and action;
- Completing project deliverables on time at highest level of quality;
- Performing other job-related responsibilities, as assigned.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Management, Business, Economics, Finance, or related disciplines.
Knowledge and Skills:
Individual should possess minimum 2 Year Financial Management experience, and 3 years experience in program and project management.
- Experience with Federal Government program office budget execution process.
- Familiarity with FAA Financial Systems (PRISM, Delphi, and CWP)
- Familiarity with software packages Microsoft Excel, Project and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Ability to employ problem solving techniques to unique situations.
- Ability to use information technology to solve business problems.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
- Prior experience in a management consulting or business advisory position.
- Strong data analysis, program evaluation and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent presentation and written communication skills.
