WireBarley is a FinTech startup that provides mobile/online based cross-border remittance service in Asia-Pacific region. We are one of the first pioneers in Australia in 2012 and now quickly expanding into other countries including Korea, New Zealand, Vietnam, Philippines, Hong Kong, Japan, and the USA.

About this position:
The case specialist will be given an active caseload through assignments, calls into the office. Casework responsibilities include but are not limited to: conducting needs assessments, providing comprehensive assistance, informing clients how our procedure works.
This position requires collaboration with both financial law and human services to provide coordinated interventions. This position also requires the ability to maintain detailed records on all casework.
Bilingual applicants are strongly encouraged to apply, If the candidate selected for this position possesses multilingual skills, they will be required to successfully pass an examination assessing oral communication, reading comprehension, and interpreting skills.
The selected applicant must successfully pass the background check.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer queries in a timely and accurate way, via phone, email or chat
- Identify customer needs and help customers to understand
- Able to remain calm and excel under pressure with an all-hands-on-deck attitude
- Maintain expert-level knowledge, as well as curiosity and awareness of new trends and research in financial industry.
- Record and relay customer feedback and concerns to internal teams including tech, marketing, operations, and product development to allow for continual improvement of the customer experience
