Looking for short-term rental (mid to late Aug) or long-term apartments

Hi, I am a female incoming economist at an international institution in DC. I am looking for a short-term lease while looking for long-term apartments, and also if there are good long-term apartments available, please let me know!

Short-term: From August 15th to Aug 22th could be longer, flexible! A room in a shared apartment or studio/1b1b apartment, anywhere in DMV area is great!
Long-term: Anytime after Aug 15th. Studio or 1b1b apartment, located in DC city. The budget is ~$2,500/month
